The Interest Forest provides services to the Australian early childhood education sector, relating to two specialist areas:
- Programming and planning
- Professional communication
Support for educators
We invite educators to join our online mentoring program, which is a highly valued form of professional development. Educators are matched with a mentoring teacher outside of their centre, who supports them to build skills, solve problems, and explore new ideas.
We also provide The Interest Forest website, free of charge. Our website is a programming tool that allows educators to search for children's interest topics and discover relevant learning provisions that align with the Early Years Learning Framework.
Support for centres
Through our ECEC support service, we help centre managers:
- communicate with families
- manage workplace documents
- develop educational programs
- and promote their service to the community.
We work flexibly to solve problems and shorten to-do lists. Our capabilities include writing, design, marketing, and digital technologies.
Our history
The Interest Forest was created in response to widespread feedback from the early childhood education sector. We understand that educators want less paperwork and more time to play.
Educators and managers are overloaded with writing and communication tasks. We are here to make these tasks easier, more efficient, and more effective.
The Interest Forest is a small team of early childhood professionals who have also worked in communication roles, like copywriting, marketing, and the media. We combine our skills to support and empower the early education sector.
