Membership

Membership at The Interest Forest is a personalised service for early childhood educators in Australia. It is designed to reduce their workload in relation to programming and planning, while providing inspiring ideas for play-based learning.

Members complete an initial survey to define their educational context and areas of interest. They are then matched with an experienced and well-resourced early childhood teacher who provides them with personalised ideas and resources via email.

Get support. Improve your program.

Our ideas and resources are highly practical. We want to offer inspiration that you can put into immediate action. We want to:

  • reduce your workload
  • increase your wellbeing
  • improve your children’s educational outcomes
  • enrich your documentation for the EYLF and the NQS
  • and strengthen your connections with families and the community.

Inspiration delivered to your inbox

All of our members receive different ideas and resources, because every educational context is different. Our teacher will create and send the material that is most relevant to you.

Notifications of special events and celebrations

Our calendar will keep you organised throughout the year. We will remind you about upcoming events, and send quick-and-easy programming ideas for your age group.

Ideas for learning experiences

Researching learning experiences doesn't have to be time consuming. We will send you innovative ideas that require minimal resources and planning. Put them into action today!

Fact sheets and content for newsletters

Our professional writers know how to craft content that will engage families. Improve your centre's communication and save time!

Printed resources for your learning environment

Receive posters, signs and other printed resources to use in your classroom. We like holistic, child-focused resources (not cartoons and cookie-cutter templates).

Educator reflections

Reflection and evaluation is essential for early childhood educators. We will send you reflection prompts and professional development resources. Achieve meaningful and measurable improvement at your service.

Belong to a community

Early childhood educators become members for various reasons. Some are directors looking for resources to share with their staff. Some are family day care operators wanting to feel part of a community. Others are students who need support with their studies.

Read these member experiences:

  • "I’ve learned so much about play-based learning. It’s not only improved how I set up my room but also helped me communicate the EYLF to parents in a way that makes more sense.”Tara, Newtown NSW.
  • “The best part is connecting with an early childhood teacher outside of my team. I like having a new perspective. I'm motivated and feel supported.”Michelle, Salisbury Park SA.
  • “I love childcare but I have ADHD and terrible at organising stuff. Being a member has taken a weight off my shoulders because they send me reminders about special days. I can spend more time with my children without stressing about forgetting little things.”Yuan, Townsville QLD.
